After many years of dedicated service, we are saying a fond farewell to two long-term team members in the coming months. Their retirement opens the door for fresh energy and new ideas to help us modernise and grow the vital support we provide across Dunstable, Houghton Regis, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for two proactive, compassionate individuals to join our small, self-funded team and help us evolve our service for those with life-limiting illnesses.
Role 1: Volunteers Manager (Lead & Innovate)
A pivotal leadership role focusing on growth, safeguarding, and community impact.
Salary: £18.52 per hour (£21,783 per annum pro rata, FTE £41,665).
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
Key Focus:
- Leading our volunteer service, managing referrals, and serving as an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees.
- The Opportunity: You will shape a service that enables vulnerable people to remain at home with dignity.

Role 2: Charity Administrator (Engage & Organise)
The heartbeat of our office, ensuring smooth operations and community connection.
Salary: £13.71 per hour (£5,703 per annum pro rata, FTE £26,734).
Hours: 8 hours per week (negotiable days).
Key Focus:
- Supporting volunteer coordination, managing digital records, and boosting our social media presence.
